We Continue to Deliver for The Department of Labor

TDEC Extends U.S. Department of Labor Relationship with Dallas Office Mail Clerk Task Order

TDEC has been awarded a base-year task order with four one-year options with the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Dallas office. Under this task order, TDEC will provide mail clerks to the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM). However, these roles are more than handling mail; we bring professional focus and efficient mailroom operations.

Hands-on and day-to-day

Specifically, our mail clerks will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, from making daily trips to the post office and operating government vehicles to managing rounds within the department offices to pick up and deliver mail. The TDEC team sorts and collates mail, disposing of junk mail and date-stamping incoming correspondence. We manage the recording and processing of registered mail to ensure that every critical piece of documentation gets where it needs to go on time.

In addition to these mail-related duties, our clerks will keep the office stocked and running smoothly. We’ll resupply copy rooms and printing devices, keeping the mailroom well-stocked with supplies, and transport small packages and boxes.

Strengthening an existing relationship

This award reflects our strong and growing relationship with the DOL. We’ve worked closely with them in the past, including the Chicago contract, as well as providing National Operational Support Services (NOSS) for the Wage and Hour and Office of Worker’s Compensation Program divisions. In the past, TDEC has supported the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) with data entry of national survey forms. This new opportunity only deepens our partnership. We’re proud to continue providing the high-quality, reliable service that the DOL expects from TDEC.

Similar to our task order to provide mail and administrative services to the Chicago regional office of the OASAM of the DOL, this order was procured through TDEC’s GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) #GS-03F-021DA. The MAS allows contracting officials to streamline procurement processes through direct access to preapproved vendors and pricing.
